Well happy new year everyone ! I hope this new year is a great one for all of you ! I always take advantage of the Black Friday sales and buy my Christmas and/or New Years Outfits! For some reason I was never really a lace kinda gal but when I spotted this dress at Kohl’s I thought it was the perfect dress for New Years!

I have been making these cookies since I was in High School and my family and friends love them! Here are my tips for making these cookies even better: I always add 2-3 cups of flour (maybe even more) instead of 1 3/4 because it’s easier for me to roll it out and be able to cut out perfect shapes. I also add a pinch of cinnamon and bit more almond extract than it says in the original recipe. I hope you and your family and friends enjoy these coconut sugar cookies! I had such a great Christmas and I hope you all did too! I’m very thankful for all of the people in my life and I’m glad that I got to spend another fabulous Christmas with them again! I usually plan my outfit early and usually stick to what I pick (I planned on wearing a red sweater instead of my white crop top), but I went to Dallas on the 23 and got to shop at forever 21 and bought a cute white turtleneck crop top for less than $15 if I recall, so on Christmas Eve morning I tried it on with my skirt and I loved the way they looked together ! Can you all believe that I had never worn a crop top before? lately i’ve been getting better at changing up my style a bit and picking things that I usually don’t buy and let me tell you all that It was such a great idea! It makes me feel great when I find something new and different to wear, in my opinion it’s important to change up your style once in a while and explore new fashions ;). This Christmas I asked for a Nikon camera and I got one! I’ve been wanting one for the longest time and I am so excited to use it! What did you all get for Christmas?
