Rebecca Minkoff clutch , Forever-21 v-neck, American Eagle jeans, sandals (old) similar here

This clutch is THE clutch for summer. When I first spotted it on Instagram, I knew I had to have it. I have an obsession with tassels and pom poms and they add a perfect touch for summer outfits. The tassels on this clutch are so colorful and they make any outfit pop! For this look I decided to wear something simple and basic that wouldn’t take too much attention away from the clutch. Simple tees like this Forever 21 v-neck are comfy and go great with statement scarves, a light cardigan, statement jewelry, etc. they are by far a necessity in my closet! Hope you all enjoy this look!

This past weekend I put together a look that was bright, cute and comfy for a day out with Austin and accidentally channeled my inner Snow White! I bought this top at Forever 21 last month along with a red skirt that I really wanted to wear together but changed my mind and decided that this yellow skirt from H&M looked better. Austin and I walked around downtown San Angelo and stopped by J.Wildes, one of my favorite boutiques in town that Austin and I have visited many times since we started dating back in 2011. I love visiting the boutique because it’s filled with such bright colors and patterns and has a wonderful dreamy 70’s vibe, sadly the store is closing down soon so Austin and I made sure to really take it all in as we walked around the almost empty boutique and remembering all of the vintage items we loved looking at. Hope you all enjoy this look!

“Fabulous Favorites” are now a thing here on Fabulously Dressed where I will be sharing some of my favorite items that I am currently craving or own and highly recommend them! Some may be fashion related, some will be stationary related, food, room decor, etc.! The warm weather has officially hit here in San Angelo and I am loving it! I was so excited to get all of my skirts, dresses, shorts, and colorful tops from my storage bin and I am so ready for spring! With all of this spring craving I decided to create a post on some of the things that I can’t wait to wear with this warm weather, I just ordered the Forever 21 top a few days ago and I am waiting impatiently for it’s arrival, look at those pom poms, they are the cutest! ( I have an obsession with pom poms and tassels!) and these  Lisi Lerch earrings are just so gorgeous, I’ve been crushing on them for the longest time and plan on saving up to make them my own soon :). Hope you all enjoy this weeks Fabulous Favorites!

Kate Spade Heart shaped clutch, old, similar style here

Austin and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s day a little early this year since he will be working on the 14th. We’ve been to the San Angelo Visitor Center countless of times, it’s right along the Concho River and has beautiful little water falls everywhere and gorgeous statues. We first visited the Visitor Center and Concho River back in 2011 when we were freshmen in undergrad and first started dating. We make sure to go frequently because it’s special to us. For my Valentine’s outfit I decided to change it up a bit and not go for a classic red dress like what I first thought about wearing. I found this peter pan collar top at Marshall’s a few months ago and fell in love with it, paired with the black circle skirt kind of reminds me of 60’s fashion. The pop of pink from the Kate Spade heart clutch adds a nice feminine touch to my outfit and the heart shape is perfect for the occasion (pops of pink are my favorite!). I hope you all enjoyed this simple but chic outfit and found some inspiration from it! Have a fabulous Valentine’s day!

Over a week ago I experienced one of the most exciting weekends of my life! I traveled to Dallas to attend my first big girl conference, by myself, not knowing absolutely anyone (I tend to be a shy person and this was a big jump that I had never taken before) and it was amazing! Create & Cultivate is a blog and conference aiming to inspire by bringing creative individuals who are ready to learn about entrepreneurs, fashion, blogging, etc. I met lots of wonderful and inspiring women from New York, Boston, LA, everywhere! On Friday there was a little cocktail event by downtown Dallas and I decided to put together a cute, girly look that expressed my style (look 1), pairing stripes with colorful accessories is one of my favorites!

The conference was all day Saturday so I made sure to wear something comfortable that still made me feel sassy and classy, the skirt from Target (look 2) is so comfortable and the flower print is gorgeous! I decided to pair it up with a plain button down shirt to dress it up a bit but not too much. The Kate spade bag added a nice touch of pink, which is always a great idea! One of the highlights of the day was getting to meet Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam, one of my favorite fashion bloggers! If you can’t tell from the picture above, I was super stoked! She commented on my Kate Spade phone case and said it was cute while my friend was taking the picture ( if you can’t tell from my face, I was super ecstatic)

Finally on Sunday I decided to wear something comfortable for the ride back home. Before Austin and I left we had breakfast with my brother, took my dog Booboo on a walk at the dog park, went shopping at the Galleria mall, and stopped by to get cupcakes at Sprinkles (because I have made it a rule that every time I visit my brother in Dallas I HAVE to go to Sprinkles! Cause why not?! :)). The flannel button down was perfect for the 4 hour drive back home and the skinny jeans from American Eagle are stretchy (my fave!) making traveling feel easier and a little more relaxing. And the Tory Burch boots, well I mean they are simply my favorite!

What I learned from this trip was that it is important to take once in a lifetime opportunities that will help me grow and learn in order to make my dreams come true. Also, business cards are VERY important when networking! I am definitely putting that on my to-do list very soon haha!

Hope you all enjoyed this special post, have you ever made any decisions that made you step outside of your comfort zone but was definitely worth it at the end? Have you been to a conference similar to this one? Leave a comment below! As always, I love hearing from you all! Stay fabulous!

Lots of pops of color with this outfit and it will definitely make you stand out in a crowd! I purchased this Kate Spade pouch at my local Marshall’s and launched myself at it because this is from an old KS collection ( Kate Spade X Darcel collection) and I wanted it so bad but never got the chance to buy it! This scarf and sweater from Target are so comfortable, and I love how the colors compliment each other. Hope you all enjoy this post! Have a fabulous day!

Black turtleneck similar here ( for only $5!)

As you can tell from previous posts, I’m really loving the oversized look! It’s just something so new to me, throughout my High School years and most of my Undergrad years I liked the fitted, tight shirts look and never wore anything that fit baggy because I just didn’t think it looked right. But now that I’ve experimented a little more and gotten out of my comfort zone, I am so glad I tried the oversized look! That’s one thing that I love about fashion, there’s so many choices of everything to pick from! And as a lover of fashion I’ve made sure to always try something new, always go into a store and pick up at least one item that a few months ago I would say to myself “Ew, no, that’s too this or too that” and refrain myself from stepping out of my comfort zone or “the usual”. This oversized cardigan is extremely comfy! I wore it pretty much all day, It’s perfect for the cold weather because it almost feels like you’re wearing a blanket! Adding the floppy hat complemented the cardigan and made my outfit look a little bohemian which was great! I tried a few poses without the hat and Austin (my bf & the man behind the lens) said that the floppy hat was what made the outfit stand out! I’ve been going crazy with the really bulky, short statement necklaces that are in style right now but I didn’t want to clutter my outfit with a bulky necklace so I chose a long simple necklace from Versona, I really like the spikes at the bottom, It adds a nice touch without taking too much attention from my entire outfit :), and the earrings and cuff are just so cute and simple! Hope you all enjoy this outfit! Tell me about any instances where you stepped out of your fashion comfort zone and tried something new by leaving a comment below! If you see anything that I wore that interests you simply click on the links I have listed above! Have a fabulous day !

Skinny Jeans from American Eagle here ( buy one get on 50% off! )

There’s something about black skinny jeans that makes me feel a little chic-ier, no matter what I’m wearing. I purchased these at my local American Eagle store over the weekend and I absolutely love them! They’re really comfortable and very stretchy. Styling them with an oversized sweater isn’t just a cute and comfy look when you accessorize with a statement bag, pearl earrings, lipstick, pointed toe flats and some cat eye sunglasses! You have turned a “chill” outfit into a causal yet chic outfit! Have a fabulous week!

Preppy Casual

Grey Turtleneck Sweater purchased from Marshall’s, similar here

Polka Dot Scarf from Target here

Dooney & Bourke Satchel simlar here

Kate Spade Pearl Earrings

Red is one of my favorite colors, it’s so chic and looks good on anyone. When I was at Marshall’s last week I noticed the jacket from far away because of it’s beautiful bright red color and it was love at first sight! I love preppy outfits so I decided to stick to a warm, cozy and simple turtleneck and jazz it up a bit with the jacket, polka dot scarf, Tory Burch riding boots and my bright yellow Dooney & Bourke satchel. It was FREEZING and very windy that day so excuse the messy hair. Hope you all enjoy my outfit!
